Hi all, interesting forum you have here

OK, yes, I am a n0ob as you will see from my stats and I do play lone wolf a lot at the moment because the guys I usually squad up with are not arround much ATM. But I am a cooperative sort, I try not to be annoying to the pros as I learn and I do love this game to a somewhat unhealthy level so please don't judge my crappy stats too harshly, OK?

So, this morning I saw something VERY wierd / annoying on the EA UK Rackage 24/7 Wake Island 2007 server; I'm hoping you can shed some light on it because frak if I know what was going on.

This guy ... http://www.bf2player.com/index.php?page … t=68361639 was being a complete and utter rettard, teamkilling everyone around him like a nutcase, getting punished LR&C and punishing everyone who teamkilled him back. In the end (I was USMC) he was spawning on the carrier and taking everyone out with a heli. Everyone was getting enraged at him, including the other team because he was just ruining the game. There was no kick vote initiated, someone said there was no admin to kick him - though I did not understand this because I;m not 100% how the kicking thing works. I played a few rounds, his score was always like -160 or -200, I asked him what he was doing a few times, as did others but he didn't respond. In the end I quit the server because it was just stupid.

So, the only thing I could figure was that a) he'd hacked someones account and was trying to slaughter their stats or b) he hated some people on that server and was trying to murder their stats by "forcing" them to teamkill him over and over again.

As you can see from his stats he was new so if he was trying to ruin someones stats he picked a pretty lowly person to pick on. As for the second part, I dunno, I guess he could have made the PID for that reason - he only registered a couple of days ago so maybe he had a vendetta to work out. I have seen servers where players are given the wrong colour tag, leading to accidental TKing but I'm sure this guy must have realised what he was doing - he was spawning on the US carrier for goodness sakes! Also, he wasn't in as a medic so he wasn't even trying to pick up heal points on the back of his dastardly deeds.

So what do you think is going on? Have you seen this before? Am I missing something? Or, is he just a smaktard plain and simple? Anyone got any ideas? thanks

If I'm on a team with a guy like this I try to switch sides and then purposely go kill him and him alone all round long. I've had that happen to me before. I got in the blackhawk with the intent of trying to capture a base, and I get tk'd by him. I forgave him because it was 1.12 when AA sucked. The second time he did it to me I punished. Once is a mistake, twice isn't, and I saw that he had tk'd a couple of others in the meantime.

After the 4th tk by this ass and calling for a kickvote and stuff which did not succeed. I switched teams. No since taking a loss because of some ass ruining the game for me.

I hate losing, but to lose because you have some ass tking everyone in sight is beyond acceptable to me. I don't know why he didn't get autobanned from the server. I forget the name of the server, but it was a pretty good server to play in.

OMG lol..nikki i play on that server alot and recently a guy called teamkiller has started playing..he is a private nd all he does is tk allround..he ended with a score of like -190 LOL..anyways he normally comes on around 7 or 8 o clock gmt so im wondering if u wer ever on with him!!

p.s God he is annoying!

He may find it funny, but I sure as hell don't. Everytime he tk's someone it's a ticket the team losees unless someone revives the dead guy. If he blows up a vehicle with someone is in, then it's 2 tickets. That really sucks when your trying to win the round and you have some dumb loser on your team you can't get rid of.

I ran into an odd Wake game the other day. The game was going fine for a while, then suddenly all the USMC just quit attacking and all these red TK messages were flying by. I swam out thier carrier to see what was going on. Looked like some tempers got out of hand 'cause the cobra was circling the deck laying waste to everyone.

Thanks for all the replies chaps. Yeah, I'm with the 12 year old / total butthole theory, either that or he is just REALLY, like fighteningly dumb and he does not realise that we play in teams! It's strange that a couple of people have had similar experiences on Wake - maybe because it's sooo easy to TK using a heli on the carrier if you are USMC? Some people need to have a little word with themselves I guess.

Keep playing you will get better. And when you start getting better, the players who have owned you will have to work out new ways to own you. It's the nature of warfare. I've gotten a lot better since I was started playing lot back in October. Occassionally it's good to be owned a lot, despite getting pissed off becausae of it. In the long run it teaches you new things.
