your points are well taken capt.fass1, but the bottom line is, white America can not have miss white America pagant, or have our own white entertainment awards, such as the blacks and hispanics do, Maxim is a magazine for MEN not white men, and is marketed to MEN. Maybe there are shows on regular TV that attract a white audiance, but it isn't the WHOLE station. I give you the Cosbys, Sanford and Son, Martin, etc.........all found on main stream TV as a rebuttal to your claim that all the other channels are "white" channels

True, about the TV but a good portion of Television is targeted to white people so we really don't need a "white channel" I guess is my point. 

I've never even heard of a Miss Black America pagent, just looked it up. Well your right about it there is no "miss white pagant", but it doesn't mean there couldn't be.  I belive that this Segragation, has good points and bad points. I'm a very tollerent Person and the good points that I can see is that it's lifting up the Black community. The bad points is that it's causing segragation which great leaders work long and hard to get ride of.  Now as much as I hate to say it, the black community really needs a strong leader, they haven't had one Since MLK.  There are still alot of issues regarding that, but we are talking about homo's.

She's made all her money from being Paris Hilton. If she kept the name but was with an other Hilton Family, no one would care.  She gets all her oppurtinities from her family, and being rich. If you think that girl has ever come up with a good idea and made money from hard work show some proof.

Uhh ohhh, Lowing the you are right was about the miss white america thing not the "black leaders". Those people are blacks in power not black leaders. MLK brought alot of change, and more fairness for the blacks but he work is far from over. Equality is still not obtained.

only a little off topic, the same double standard exist with the gay community.  They claim they want equal treatment, and all they protest for is SPECIAL treatment. that was my point. I couldn't care less what they do I just don't want to be told it is normal and I need to accept it with open arms.

We in my opion they should get the same treatment as everyone else. It isn't a race issue, it's a sexual thing which is there own choice. It's a different plight then color and race issues. So it's a different issue.
