Well the thread was dead, so I thought this would be fine.

so your denying that people have to be paid to build and maintain these things. Of course Unemployment numbers are high, its a recession...
Those six or seven things will not end unemployment, nothing will, but they do create some jobs. That is the point. Would you rather that your Gov't just fund unemployment until your even further in debt?

It really seems to me that your just fishing here...

What I am saying the people installing them and such are already employed.  Are you telling me they are going to hire new full time employees to install some shitters?

A company may need to expand to do some 2.8 mill of work. Not saying one company would get all that contract. But work is being made available. Jesus, are you fishing? bitching? or both? Americans are being payed to work on these things, which are also being worked on to enrich your history, (The stadium and some of the others, not the shitters, Although apparently some of them are considered historic.). And improve the area around you, (Water taxi and tolerance teachings.)

Your just bitching because its Obama... or as you say nobama, which btw is lame and makes you look like a child name calling... jesus.

No, you do not get it.  And stop insulting me.  You dare call me a child, listen to you.

All those things are great.  THAT IS NOT WHAT THE STIMULUS BILL WAS FOR.

So what! Neither was bonus money for greedy execs that would quit as soon as they got paid out. Which would you rather have the money spent on? Its not name calling either, its saying you look like a child when you resort to name bashing the president to try to make a bad point.

Bonus money was not the stimulus, that was the bail out.  And that was BS also.  Two different subjects.

Well, I'll ask then:
1) Did you want the stimulus bill to pass?
2) Does the pork added to the bill change your opinion?

So could you give me a detailed listing of exactly the best way to spend this stimulus money? down to say $50,000 dollar break downs.

1) I did want the Stimulus bill.  Not the bailouts though.
2) The pork is not stuff that I do not think is a good idea as a whole, but that was not the time for that stuff.

My original thought was:
worry about the big stuff (aka bailouts) and not about the little stuff (aka toilets)

otherwise you'll go mental

So Joe the Plumber, upon second look, is even more like the average American than we previously thought?  Wow, this is truly newsworthy stuff.  I am glad we are giving it the attention it deserves.

This is yet another example of how the media latches on to something and the mindless people eat it up.  What next, a media expose stating that Deep Throat was actually a no-neck communist zombie to introduce a new red scare to an unexposed generation

I can do both.  The bailouts were all the way BS.  There are good things in the Stimulus.  It's not hard to point out the tons and tons of BS though.

Go right ahead.  I'll stick with a $50M minimum.

You only put up about five items.  You'll wear yourself out before you hit the 300 or so in the bill...but be my guest.

Well...... Like I said, not saying this stuff is 100% useless, but this is not the bills for it.
(And please, spare me the foxnews crap.  This is all fact)

Alright, then let me tell you where I fall out on this:
1) I did not like the Stimulus Bill at all
2) I do not pay attention to anything below $50M in the budget.  There simply is not enough time in the day.
3) I understand that sometimes you have to "buy off" people to get them to vote.  I think that sucks, but that is how the US system works.
4) I'm not watching six youtube videos when you could have typed something and saved me 10 minutes of my life.
5) I love you
