F1 is back at the Hungaroring for the start of the second half of the 2009 Formula 1 season! Can Red Bull make it three in a row or can Brawn launch a comeback on a much warmer track than Silverstone and the Nurburgring? Or can the recovering McLaren or Renault return to winning ways? And how will new boy Jaime Alguersuari (pronounced 'Heimi Al-gay-shuari') cope in his debut race where he will become the youngest ever participant in a Grand Prix?

I'm just glad that RBR have made a race out of things. It was looking like Button was going to stink up the show. The point you make about the warmer track has (in my mind) certainly been important, its obvious the Brawn doesnt put heat in the tires as well as others, this race should swing more in thier favor. I expect this one will be close and quite interesting all the way thru...barring mechanical sillyness or other unforseen events I expect BGP to be victorious sunday.
In any event, its gonna be a good race...cant wait.

True, but at the last GP in Germany, McLaren topped practise and almost came top in qualifying. Heikki came in the points and Lewis would have, had he not buggered up the first corner in glorious fashion

Well, Hammy just topped 3rd practise too...by 4tenths! He has some serious pace in that car this weekend. Apparently, "he reckons if he takes pole it will be because someone else gets it wrong not because McLaren are fastest."

Im pretty sire Alonso said he did a 1:21:5 and Hamilton said he did a 1:21:7, so if what the commentators said is correct about Hammy being 5th...that is a bloody close top 5.

Ive never known a quali session with so much drama and problems.

Noice. Thats interesting because I swear the BBC commentators said that Kovalainen had out-qualified Hamilton. Glad thats not the case That KERS button will probably get him 1st place for the 1st corner tomorrow...and perhaps a win?
