I can't reinstall my BF2 because i keep getting MD5 errors. My disks are clean and I've got worse condition disks that arent giving me MD5 errors like my clean BF2 ones are.

1) Download a fresh copy from some warez site and use that
or
2) Send the CD back to EA to get it replaced (which they'll happily do, so I've heard)

I'm in Australia though, man Short term, would it be possible to use a mates CD w/my CD key?? I could probably send it to EA Australia. Do you have any ideas what i have to include (receipts/CD keys).

Guys, im still getting MD5 errors off of my friends disks!!
Then your drive is probably fuxed up. Try some kind of downloaded NOCD hack (I use one and it works fine.) BF2MINI-SKL or something.
I've got 2 drives, and i get errors on both of them.
I wont be able to no-cd, because my full game aint installing...
Do you think the game would work if I got a mate to send me the particular files I got MD5s on? And i could copy + paste them into my BF2 file...

not sure if it will help but did you try a bios update for your cd/dvd drives?

your bois update is depending on the graphics card you have insatalled whats your graphics card if you dont know I'll tell you how to find it

THis is where it would be, but i only updated my mobo drivers a little while ago. Not sure if any in here would fix my problem... then again, it may have been the mobo update that buggered my ROM. However, every other CD and DVD works fine on them... just not the BF2 ones.
