STS-127 Launch Countdown Resumes

At NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the countdown to liftoff of space shuttle Endeavour resumed on time at 6:03 p.m. EDT at T-3 hours. Prelaunch preparations continue on schedule.

Inside the Astronaut Crew Quarters, the seven astronauts who will fly on the STS-127 mission will depart shortly for Launch Pad 39A, where the shuttle is poised for flight.

no...he is on the opposite coast.  although when i lived in orlando i could see the night launch from my apartment, but could only see the fire really.  need to be close to see it and feel the rumble.

At 6:19pm ET, the countdown entered a hold at the T-9 minute mark. Managers now will conduct a final "go-no go" poll for launch.

Dealin with a situation at home.. AC is out. Plus this mission is jinxed.. not driving an hour to be disappointed.

You always see less of the shuttle at night launch.

Cleared but.. Launch controllers are keeping an eye on the weather;there's a possibility that cumulus clouds+lightning may get 2 close to the launch area
