I see his point but I cannot make the distinction he does between Muslims and Islam. There, I think, is the fundemental point.

Ah, well, I think that's just wrong.

The reasons the ME is fucked up goes way, way, way beyond Mohammed. Lots to do with the tribal nature of the area. Islam just embellishes the sides (actually, it made the place stable for once in how-so-everlong, for a few centuries. While we shirk today at the idea of a Caliphate, let's not forget that in its time it was one of the most progressive and enlightened societies of its age)

Nope you are not, but to say you PRACTICE a religion that TEACHES violence and intolerance TAUGHT by a murder/child molester and uses sharia law as part of its foundation and reason, I will assume you somewhat agree with it.

I agree to this, however, the religion of Islam is not a moderate religion/culture.
