A Mayor from a bookwoods town in Alaska who just recently got elected in 06 to be govenor of Alaska, yup, she's qualified to second in line for the presidency.
and your opinion on a "community organizer" as FIRST in line as president?
He has the right ideas, he wasn't my first choice but he'll do.
A Junior Senator is much better then a Junior Govenor tbh expecially when her running mate is as old as he is

Don't blame me. I didn't vote for that comedian. Or the other guy for that matter. Or anyone else for that matter.

Get ready for the return of Jesse in our next governor race.

Don't blame me.  I also take no claim for Klaubachar (?spelling).
I voted for Coleman.  Even though I dislike him too, just not as much.

Good old democracy. The answer to all our problems... Let's export it elsewhere - who's with me? Democracy is a fad that exists as long as there is plenty - its downfall approacheth.

No.  Our democracy was fine till we mixed in a little socialism.

And what kind of point is that making?  You think socialism got us to where we are as a country?

I think socialism is what modernized us as a society as it did for Europe.

Take a look at all the countries today that don't have social programs.  Do you really want to live in any of those?

Come on Turq, you know that is a dumb comparison.  You think we are going to survive as a country if we keep racking up the debt we are?  Do you really want to pay the higher taxes that are going to be needed to pay for all these social services?

I guess you could want us to fail as a country and become part of the global government that is coming.

I have nothing against government spending less, but I have a feeling we probably disagree on where the cuts should be.

The problem I see is that social programs teach people to be reliant on assistance.  We cannot afford these and I have no intention of handing over more of my hard earned money to support them.  Isn't 38% of your income enough?

You do realize social programs account for a large portion of the budget allready?  Larger than defense even.

True.  But ending them altogether isn't a good idea either.

I think we should end SS, so we at least agree on that one.

Ya know just the other day I was driving around and remembered I had thousands of ballots in the back of my car.  I was supposed to drop them off at some election place a few months ago.  Damnedest thing -it just slipped my mind.

Don't you guys have anything better to bitch about than a guy who isn't a career politician eeking out a victory in a state that voted for Jesse Ventura ?  Oh wait, that's right Franken was on Air America so he's automatically evil

I'm sure you guys were just as disgusted with the 2000 election scandal too.

By the way the whole 1200 ballot thing was debunked, so there's really no point in bringing up erroneous info to rail against.

I'm making fun, not bitching.  Didn't know he was on Air America.  That little wanna be talk show still exists?
