Conservative talk radio hosts are terrorists.

So said the Speaker of California's Assembly in an interview published at the Los Angeles Times Saturday.

As amazing as it may seem, this was Karen Bass's (D-LA) response to the question, "How do you think conservative talk radio has affected the Legislature's work?" (h/t NBer Gary Hall):

There's more then one, it's happened many times. Infact it has worked the way the terrorists wanted it to, the terror caused by these killings has made it so that almost no one has the balls enough to practice the neccessary service of late term abortions.

Isn't going through all those things violation of privacy.

lame video....I am sure someone could have the same type of video using all dems or liberals. Maybe you are too young to remember but Al Gore made these types of speeches during his election bid. I am sure someone in these forums could enlighten you of the words Al Gore was spewing about Iraq, Saddam...etc. In fact, the Dems were very, very critical of Bush, using the same rhetoric leading up to those elections.

Anyhow, on topic, people who speak like this leader in California must think most people in the U.S. are terrorists. That is why liberal stations dont last because most people listen to conservative radio. He needs to get a thicker skin. I love the words he used as well....

The legislator is actually calling out talk show hosts, not the listeners. The OP is basically a parrot post of the guy filling in for John & Ken ('Libertarian' talk show hosts) on KFI talk radio here complaining about and taking offense to the comments made. Here's the thing that pisses me off about that woman's speech - nothing about how the legislators are terrorizing the public by spending billions more than they bring in then trying to pay for it by raising taxes on virtually everything. California's budget mess is a microcosm of the Fed's - we spend way more than we bring in. Nevermind diminishing the size of the government; let's just tax the hell out of people instead.

The talk show circus is having a fit over some stupid bitch's words. I guess they have to fill that time somehow. One of the reasons I hate talk radio.
