You ever read Fast Food Nation marine? Schlosser addresses the beef packing industry (and a lot of it is done in Greeley CO) and how fucked up it is. There's also another book I read (the name escapes me at the moment) that discusses the implications of the so-called Green Revolution and what it will mean to the global north/south. Interesting stuff.
