was watchin the soccer game. whatd he do
On the last restart the 88 spun the tires a bit and the 1 chk'd up...Kyle was half a car length behind the 1 and just ran over him, turned him and voila'...instant red flag...
Took out the 1, 29, 31 and heavily damaged several others...and the little jerk-off just drives right on by like nothing ever happened...
To Truex's credit, he was gonna throw his helmet at the 18 before he got in the ambulance, but decided better of it. Too bad he didnt have a nice frag to throw imo.

haha
Tony is putting it on'em atm...he's got a great car, and has had about all day really.
I'd like to see another yellow and see if the 14 and 48 couldnt race it out. That would be a nice show.
Wouldnt break my heart to see either one win (but I preffer the 48 hehe )

Tony and the Hendrick cars have been strong, we shall see ...
Logano???
I mean, the kid is in over his head, but a win is a win...no?
Sometimes you gotta be lucky...good doesnt factor in.

Another race handed to Toyota on a platter by Nascar ... this is not racing

ugh
eh...
shit happens fella's...I'm no fan of finishing under the red flag, and yeah Stingray they did call that one pretty quick. But umm...have you looked at the radar in that area? Its gonna rain like hell for quite a while (or so it appears to me...I'm no weather dude hehe) and NHMS has no lights as of yet. Just give Bruton a little time.
I know you love Toyota Stingray (lol-Not) but lets face it, the kid fell into this win, and having Zippy talking him thru it didnt hurt.
A win is a win.
I still say Joey is in over his head. And according to Kyle Petty, I'm not the only one.
Jr had a good day today, lets be thankfull for that. Looks like the guy on top of the box is making a difference. I'd hate to be Tony Eury Jr right now. He's being made to look like a fool.
Kurt screwed Jimmie, or he would've had a much better finish, if not a win today. This bodes well for the beginning of the chase, for this is the first race of the chase when we come back.
We have much to be thankfull for by the looks of today, as far as the HMS cars are concerned.
We'll get'em at Daytona...no doubt in my mind.
Good race today all in all, it wasnt the normal wicked boring New Hampshire. This new double file restart is the bomb imo. Kudo's to NASCAR for finally seeing the light and getting rid of those damned lap down cars on the inside.

The only reason it's the largest is because you yanks stay disciplined and keep your shit in one thread whereas we make an individual thread for every race, event, pit stop and political story and then some.
Why do they have two races at Daytona in one season? Surely it takes some of the sparkle away from the inaugural season opening Daytona 500 event.

they run at most tracks twice per season
There are a couple of significant differences between the upcomming race, and the season opener.Mekstizzle wrote:

1. The opener is a 500 mile event, the upcomming one is 400 miles.
2. The upcomming race is at night, under the lights. The opener isnt. Racing at night changes the whole thing, grip, speed, handling...on and on.
The upcomming event doesnt really take anything away from the 500 as its a whole other bag of tricks, given the conditions.
But yeah, like Ig said, we go to 90% of these tracks twice a year.
omfg...
Some Federal judge dictates interpretation of the rules, laid down and understood by EVERYONE in NASCAR:
http://www.nascar.com/2009/news/headlin … index.html
what total and complete horseshit...
Personally, I wouldnt want to race with him. I simply cannot understand this. Baseball has a drug problem, but no clear way of taking care of it. Football has a drug, and behavior problem, those players get indefinate suspensions. I guess tooling around at 185mph with a meth head is safe and ok.
eh...I could rage on this for 20 minutes...I wont...
but damn does this Really piss me off.

I watched highlights of the last race a few days ago, that multi crash. I had the sound on low, but was everyone blaming that green car that spun out the other green car. I mean I suppose you could blame him for doing that sort of pit manoeuvre thing, but then again, it was small contact and it seemed like there was nothing he could do. I feel sorry for the white car that took the wide route yet still ended up getting wrecked.
Reminded me of Adrian Sutil in a recent F1 race where he was avoiding everything by cutting through the corner only to have one of the affected cars hit him square on right as he came back on the track, that shit is just unlucky
Oh yeah and lol @ some guy who was about to throw his helmet at the green car as it drove by, I wish he did

The problem was that the one green car (Kyle "the douche" Busch) mashed the gas and spun out the car in front of him. This was unnecessary and ended the other green car's (Martin Truex Jr.) day. Kyle should have driven low inside the other green car, but he could not because it's against the rules to pass on a restart, before the starting line. Once again, Kyle drove like a fool and took out quite a few strong cars because of his stupid move.
Coke 400 at Daytona tonight...8pm eastern gents.
Double file restarts...the works...its gonna be a good race me thinkst.
bitches hehehe

"Stupid is forever"
Brian Vickers refering to Kyle Busch. Gotta be one of the best driver quotes all year.

the rest of these guys better have something, or this race may be over before it begins.
we'll see in 400 miles.
