With 19 states having to vote for their budgets by next Tuesday its rumored that the Federal government will have a Bailout Bill for States who can't balance their budgets.

So states, like California, with a $25 billion deficit, may well get a bailout.

Is this true?

Of coarse.

And just like the car bailout plan, it will come with snakey, drawn out fine print which will result in loss of more freedoms im sure.

I'm ok with that.  I'm surprised that the Dems would come up with that, but I support it.

I shouldn't have to subsidize people's kids, and neither should Californians.

They need to do like MN.  Pawlenty is balancing it himself.  If he pulls it off he will make a stong statement for his presidential run in '12.  I like him except the whole Ethanol thing.

Pawlenty is certainly better than Palin or Jindal.

He is showing some backbone with the state legislature at least.  Like I said though, he has catered to the farmers with the ethanol program though.

It's pretty tough, though, when we've got Minneapolis spending $200,000 on stuff like promoting drinking tap water.

WTF is that?
