Pregnant women are being given the chance to hold life-size models of their unborn babies, thanks to an invention that converts data from ultrasound and MRI scans.

Jorge Lopes, a Brazilian designer, uses 3-D printing technology to create the plaster models, which go on show tomorrow at an exhibition at the Royal College of Art in London.
I wonder if this would reduce the number of abortions?

Interesting, but I doubt it would reduce abortions in significant numbers.  If a woman is able to suppress her maternal instinct enough to consider abortion, a plaster model won't help.

Freaky really, especially if there is a miscarriage.

It's interesting that they created technology to do that, but the whole "babies r cute" thing is retarded. They're chunky, they smell, and don't do jack; some of that makes me lol at the above abortion comments too.
