The man (I refuse to call him a 'kid' as some bleeding-hearts choose to, because at 15 years old I knew not to fucking rape people) had a previous record including sexual assault, and he was still allowed to roam free? Rapists should be castrated. Not only would it remove the thing that empowers them, but it'd prevent them from having kids. I would /not/ want a kid to be raised by someone like this. I really don't buy the whole 'eugenics' argument because there's a difference between selective breeding and keeping sick fucks from having and potentially abusing their kids.
