The reason the number seems so special is because it is FFFF in Hex. That is why the maximum number of rows in excel is 65535, the programers used a 4 bit register to define the row number. So the 10th row would be 000A (in computers memory, hex) or row 65535 is (FFFF). You can do conversions using the calculator on your computer. If this number is maximum for anything dealing with computers, I would gurantee it is because it was written using 4 bit registers.

Important things to notice are as follows:

-[C.E.A]-*Sinkope has a Global Score 16,777,215 which is approx 256 * 65535
-[C.E.A]-Dragon has a Global Score 6,585,191 which is approx 100 * 65535

BOTH -[C.E.A]-*Sinkope and -[C.E.A]-Dragon have best round scores of 65535

Those boys are genius....!

Also - BLAZIN UK DID EXPLOIT HIS WAS TO THE TOP!!!!!

look for references to 65535 which dont quite add up (MEDIC SCORES HINT HINT)

It means possibly every player in the top ten have abused a certain glitch to gain points.

I can see chaos in BF2-land.. I see everyone's stats reset.. I see.. a new beginning

Basically - when you get a certain score during around - its in excess of FF hex (in decimal) and i am working out what it is exactly, the servers are missreading (the glitch) and then reading the wrong value to the stats, as you can see - blazinuk has 65535 kills with medic, but also, 65535 total - which is bull cos there were kills in spec ops, etc which are ignore by the total - i aint 100% sure what the cause is but i am working it out.

In the words of Xecutioner - "Basically they were able to score a number that's something special in hex, and the server went nuts and doubled their score a bunch of times"

This could explain the commander glitch. So what you're saying is that I could score a certain number and suddenly have my scored doubled crazily?

The theory is that they padded their way to that score of 65535. Then, sicne they were commander, the round ended with them winning. The server got that number, and the theory is it converts into hex. The server then gets confused and starts doubling the score over and over. That's the theory anyways.

that means: it's intentional and an exploit? or an accident / server error?

Commander scores being 65535 and hexing back to server instead of decimaling back to server is the key.... give me a few hours and i might have a working version of the exploit on video.

exploit due to server error - based on the work of blazin.uk and his predicesor who had his stats zeroed during the first week.

Either way, its mission impossible to even pad your way to that score. That would be almost 3 hours of padding. Never have I experienced a round to last that long. Wait.... *sniffs the air* I smell some nitro here lol

EDIT at sophoz: lol, report them. They just e-mailed themselves to a death trap rofl

But there is just no way you can get a score of that in a round.
I did read in a diff topic about the guy who got 18,xxx command points because the admins swapped maps over and over and each time was just doubling his x2 each time ..i.e 100 x2 = 200 , then the 200 x2 = 400 and so on ?

It can happen. If you leave some flags neutral so there is no ticket bleed, you can pad your way to that with revives. Since your team doesnt lose a ticket if you revive, you could technically go on and on and on.

EDIT: That KN guy got that BRS of 18K by this glitch/exploit, although he reported himself to EA after it and they said it was a glitch and nothing could be done. How ironic that today he woke up to find his stats wiped, while this Spanish CEA dude still has his points.

But there had to be other players, right? The amount of players in-game for the round to even start has to be 9 or greater, for a sixteen player server. This means, either everyone in that round padded, or they're using some kind of hack or modified file that isn't picked up during the verification.

EDIT: He got his stats wiped? That wasn't even his fault, unless he kept using the exploit.

if they get rezzed continously and the tickets dont count down it should be possible

Yes, that proves they padded. But look at pallijah's score. He had no teamwork points, and only one kill. How did he manage to get a 4000 something score?

I wonder that too. One possibility is that they were playing on an old version of BF2, before the commander could only get command points. He must've revived and crap, and I'm guessing it wouldn't show up under the team score.
