Well, where I live, foreclosure rates are pretty low, and home values are low, but stable.  We never were that expensive to begin with, and we seem to have an endless supply of Pennsylvanians moving down here.

Raleigh is doing pretty well too, for mostly the same reasons.

Now, our unemployment rate is a different story....

Nationally there has been a definitive pickup. But that is typically the case this time of year.. kids getting out of school etc..

Interest rates rising because of all the government spending will slow down whatever improvements we've seen so far.  I believe I read somewhere that they are predicting a double-dip recession.
