For the knife badge you should be the commander and then you've got your UAV and scan so you will know were they are just follow them and then there you go.

yeah thats my way. another way (i got 3 kills with knife within 15 seconds doing this yesterday) use the sniper class and look for snipers on the mountains, and go in with your knife.
I find most of the time, if i see someone, its easier to chase them and stab them rather than try and shoot them. i cant say how satisfying it is killing with the knife, i love it even though ive not killed much.
You just know when the guy looks at what kllled him hes thinking "you sly bastard"

If they are, I'd like you to post where it says they are illegal, it would be news to me and a lot of other players. By the way, I don't admin one of these servers, I just play on a few of them. Easy on the "gonna report you" there, chief, I'm in the dark here if they are not allowed.
If they are "Illegal," why has EA allowed them to operate and allow awards from batterecorder? Seems they would have at least cut them off.

Just as a pointer for the rest of you, avoid these places at all costs. I also read EA requests screenshots from places like these to reset stats of people who play here. Don't get alarmed if you have boo-booed like I did, they have to have a screenshot before they will erase anything, they don't go on heresay, but they do investigate these places if reported.
Honestly, I don't see the big deal with having knive/pistol servers anyway, they are fun, but I won't make the same mistake twice. Wish EA would rethink it's policy here. If you "Stat-pad" for using weapons designed for use in the game, would not using standard autos be "stat-padding" as well? I don't see the logic here. But, If EA don't like it, I did not work my butt off to have anything reset.

i got vet today. it was rather simple. i dont like the hiding technique, i just chase people around while bunny hopping, dolphin diving, ect. its actually really easy. it was ironic because the kill that got me my badge, was CQC with an AT guy armed with a DAO-12, i was hopping like mad, he tried to be patient and aim each of the shots to try and kill me, instead of spraying it everywhere, but in the end, he never even hit me. POP! you have been awarded: vet knife badge
My favorite kills are chasing people from behind and poppin em in the back when they are running. did this to 3 people today. its so satisfying ^.^

Guess what... even a noob like me got the vet badge... I was about to give up, and just play for fun until I thought WTF one more time. My key was: use a 64 map with only 20 or so players. Mostly no-one wants to be commander, so I sillicitated for the benefits of scans and uav... I just started chasing and running, and finally... there it was the basic and vet in one round. I'm most proud of that I earned it honestly, no knife server or appointment in secret spots... Yeah... my son is 9, and he got it before me... check vonDutch1junior...
