Is it just me still? I see people who had this issue and now have it fixed, but i have done everything and anything i have seen on EA or been told to do by friends and it still will give me this damn "your cd key is invalid" after downloading the 1.03 patch. If anyone has any info to wtf its doing and why, please respond.
Maybe you have a hacked copy of the game....
There is no "Fix" per se. What I had to do is re-run the "Patch" on both of my accounts on my system, ( I log into a domain at work and run local at home ) because the cd key has been encrypted based on the user account it was installed under.
So, each time I want to play ( During the week at work and then at home on the weekends I have to rerun the patch installer.

but i dont have a diff copy anywhere else except on my computer, should i patch the update on every single xp account thats on my computer?

What I mean is that you should probably re-run the patch on your computer on ANY accounts you have on you PC. Like maybe you have an account for you and an account for another family member.

That doesn't work. The best you can do is make one active, the other inactive (by encrypting the CD Key to one or the other account). There is NO way you can get it to work on BOTH accounts, even though you don't play both at the same time. It would seem EA are trying to make us buy a copy of the game for each account we use because they want more revenue.
I am still waiting for EA to fix this. Poor quality standards, incompetent testers. EA and DICE, get your act together.
