If it's a genuine memory problem PB might be detecting a no fog hack (it will scan for memory in use that shouldn't be), so if you are using a no fog or altered fog distance patch disable it.

Or, you could have a ram problem. If you have two sticks try with one, to see which is faulty.

This error might also be the result of using a virtual disc image rather than the bf2 disc in the cd tray.

Lol, I downloaded BF2 today from a torrent because i could not find my disc

probably the reason huh? :-P

Yep.
SO would I need to do a reinstall or just find my disc and stop using a nocd?
