- How to ghost a fellow jet
Practice.
Yes, ghosting is possible on servers that allow player follow cam (< not the official term, just my way of calling it :p). Once dead, press the C (default) button to switch to other allied players. Eventually, you'll land on a flying player in a jet, and you can watch them play. See their turns, their dives, their angle of attack.
Videos on YouTube can teach you how to bomb too. Might be handy if you can pick up the lesson. I'm not too good at learning it however.

I stood in line for four hours. They better give me a Wal-Mart gift card, or something. - Rodney Booker, Job Fair attendee.
Watching good players with the c key is a great idea, and not just for jets either. You can really learn a lot. Although I assume being good in jets involves a shitload of motor skills such as being able to fly while using rear view, fly-by view etc, and that will only come with practice.
I learned to fly and bomb by playing Operation Clean Sweep in singleplayer.
