So, as yall can see, I like collecting ribbons, and im not fantastic, but im not bad either. a 3:1 win/loss ratio is simply retarded, more than 50% of the time you join a server, you are gonna be on a bad bad team that is losing already and there is nothing 1 person can do about it, but that's ok, cause if you disconnect thats an automatic loss, and if your internet goes out for 10 secs or more, which many people do, you get a loss, etc etc etc......it's ridiculous, ribbons and medals are suppsoed to reflect indivdual accomplishments not team endeavors....so anyway, here's me, with 1 ribbon that I'll never get, or at least not for a year b/c too many idiots play this game...........anyone else pissed off about this?

hmmm, my ribbons and badges arent showing in my sig, how do I turn this on?

in a couple months the stampede of click fest gamers should die off and we'll be left with people who actualy enjoy the game, maybe then with some work it will be possible to get this? as it stands now i doubt it

Some people do have it, and im sure some are legit, but i've seen a lot of people just taking it, Roofus,.. admin.. loser.. kicks people cause they're better then him.. he's one that has it cause he's kicked people to get it.. its a tough one, hopefully EA will lower the req for that one sometime.

I don't think it works like that.You only get credited for side you played on the most time.If it does I don't need to get it that way.

I agree that ribbon is really hard. but everyone whines when things are too easy "there's nothing to look forward to wah wah" and when you run into something hard "wah wah it's too hard"

Are we sure its global3-1 win to loss total? I thought that it was a reflection of your record as a commander only? (given that its a command award) If not that would be difficult to get.

I don't understand how so many people have the knife badge personally. I'm only missing the knife and explosives badge and I find both EXHAUSTING. I don't want to play a knife/pistol only server and I don't want to use some lame tactic to get it, but trying to get 7 'stabbins in a round is nuts. Guess there will be no first sergeant for me after all...

yes it appears to be correct...
and yes the knife and explosives badges are retarded (veteren and beyond). I've got my vet stabby-stab badge and was damned lucky to get it... very hard to get through normal gameplay indeed.

ok, as far as the knie badge is concerned, it's really easy to get on sharqui peninsula, if you just run around in another team's flag spawn area you will get all kinds of knifes on unsuspectying people

the explosives badge sucks, I got my basic by just throwing c4 at people and suiciding, lame but effective

and, for the war college ribbon, I found out today that you can join a server, and so long as you dont join a team and spawn once, you dont get a loss for leaving the server, so with that in mind, you can log into a server and check to make sure the team it's gonna put you on isn't getting raped and at aleast have a fair chance at wining, again, not that 1 lone person can make that drastic a difference

and im not saying the war college ribbon is "too hard", it's that it doesnt reflect indivdual achievment which is what medals and ribbons are all about I thought

camp out at there base thats how i got mine... also try going on a suicide round with c4s.. thats how i got mine

I agree, its the only Award that i'll never get...

Now I dunno if this is Confirmed or not, cuz its unrecorded in Stats that the 3:1 Win/Loss should only count to Matches Played as Commander... and if not, they should Make it 2:1 or less.

Its very unfair to log into a Server with a Team thats Getting Dominated. If you lose the First round and its a Server that Plays 3 Rounds of one Map then you going to Lose 2 or 3 Of them and thats 6 Or More Wins you NEED to get in order to stay on Par.

I figured it out guys, 16 man servers.....if you get a good team, you can rack up like 10-20 wins withiin 2 hours, and 1 person actually can make a serious differnce in them
