Well it was the our turn to vote in what is increasingly becoming a kind of United States of Europe rather than a loose union of European countries

But anyway, I suppose voting is better than not and I had nothing else better to do. Ended up voting Conservatives as they seemed to want the EU, but just not want it to turn into some sort of United States/Republic, they also oppose the Lisbon Treaty. I was gonna vote UKIP but meh, the EU isn't that bad, it's just quite gay. I always find myself agreeing with the Tories anyway

Not like these elections make much of a difference, but for the sake of it, for those that actually decided to go, who'd you vote for?

Oh and also what's up with the BNP being at the top of the list on the paper, I mean I know it's Alphabetical but still, fuck that. I'm gonna create an Aardvark party so that they're not at the top of ballot papers

You didn't vote cos you're in the US, or you didn't cos you're a Bellend

Nah I don't blame people who didn't vote, I mean what the fuck is a European Parliament anyway

I arz in the UK at the moment, tbh I dont quite understand it.  It's a list system is it not?  So you only vote for the party and they pick the MEP do they not according to there own internal lists?  If so, do they publish the list before the election at all?

Political parties are like parallel lines as far as am concerned, you can pick which one you like but there ultimately going in the same direction.

If they ever let us have the referendum I'll vote.  God bless the Irish, they saved us

You're better off voting an anti-EU party than Boycotting the vote. Anyway it closes at 10pm here so there's plenty of time for those that haven't or can't be arsed, although one major aspect of me actually bothering to go was the fact that the Church is only a 2 minute walk away

If I were in the U.K., I would've voted Green.

We'll vote on Sunday, and by 'we vote' I mean we have to vote, it's an obligation to vote overhere.

At the European level I'll vote green, not for the party but for a guy who I know will work his ass off in the EP and not just collect his montly pay.

EU elections here tomorrow, lumped in with local elections. Moved address recently and didn't bother getting registered so no voting for me - yay! Abstaining is not something to be proud of but the thought of choosing between the unthinkable, the pointless and the detestable is enough to make you want to revert to feudalism.

I was considering voting, but I never found out where my local voting office was. I don't really know who I'd have voted for anyway. In terms of UK politics, I agree most with the Green party. However, for EU parliament, I'd probably vote UKIP. I think they're a useless bunch of idiots that couldn't run a country for shit, but seeing as all they'd do in Brussels is fuck up peoples plans to remove more of our rights from us, I'm all for it.
