Why the bloody hell do we get punished for a teamkill when some stupid,blind or otherwise deranged twat drives over a well marked anti tank mine?

I think the idiot should have his profile terminated for not possessing enough brain cells to adequately compete.

Perhaps we could have a new medal. "The Darwin Award" with a big D for DUNCE on it.

'hmmm' ... There's a few threads on this topic already, but I can understand your frustration. However, I think they actually have to 'punish' us for a TK as the automatic/default way is not to punish. We still lose points though, trick is, don't TK either on purpose or by accident (like we can help it)

The sore spot with AT mines is that determining fault is difficult due to all the subjectivity involved.

It's difficult to prove that a mine was set intentionally to TK (unless set within a friendly uncappable base or friendly airfield), and equally difficult to prove that the person running over it did so because of poor mine placement (blocking friendly CP exits comes to mind) or because he wasn't paying attention.
