You would have to be entirely ignorant of the American culture and the founding colonies which were French, Dutch, Spanish, English, etc...

nope, NAACP CAIR etc are all groups wishing to shove "diversity" down our throats. In fact their agenda has nothing to do with diversity it has everything to do with forcing thier will on society.Bertster7 wrote:

Without refering to Islam at all, point out a few negative aspects of cultural diversity (with relation to the British Empire, since that's what this thread is about).

You do not have areas where populations of black mexicans, jews, Irish etc are all equally dispersed. You have mini communities of Jews, blacks mexican and Irishghettoperson wrote:

Yes you do. I live in one. Not exactly equally dispersed, but all around in large numbers - except for Mexicans. Not many Mexicans around in South London and you'll find more Jews in East London, but nevertheless they're all around in large numbers.lowing wrote:

I can not speak of diverisity in England, I have never been there nor am I affected by it. However, there are those in this forum that are living with it, and you all have spared no expense at dragging him/her through the mud with your open mindedness tolerance and acceptance for thinking outside your point of view.

I do not want to be force feed culture I do not like. Of course in everyones eyes this makes me a bigot. Never mind it is fine when others do not want to be force feed western democracy. Calling someone a racist is the only way someone can deflect the truth of the matter and avoid devulging their own predjudices.
I give you the threads started by benefit as a perfect example of this. The man said nothing insulting or unreasonable but the usual suspects bashed him relentlessly to the point where his threads had to be closed, and he is the one that is supposed to need tp be more diverse and open minded? This does nothing but show diversity means changing from one way to another way. It does not mean compromise in the real world. If you do not "diversify" willingly ( IE, accept forced non beneifical change) you are a racist. Never mind the agenda of those accusing.
Muslims don't want diversity, they want Islam
no race wants diversity either, which is why cities like NY or divided into racial or national mini nations.
I am feed up with everyones oneway street version of diversity."
In Australia, "China town" is not an example of racial diversity. Chinese students in the public school is. Can you understand that concept?
Are the Chinese refusing to integrate by living in a localised area? Or do you think they are integrating by selling to the local population and spreading the Chinese culture throughout the neighbourhood?

What would the reason be when there are no areas where different cultures blend equally? the answer is because no one really wants to live with people much different than they are. I offered NYC a liberal "progressive", mecca, and even here with all of its "tolerance" and "diversity" it practices it separately from another in their own mini culturally separate communities
Because you talking about Islam endangering our way of life is like listening to a broken record. I've heard all your arguments before, I don't agree with them and they form a small part of the British immigrant community. Nor is that particularly relevant to the wider issue of cultural diversity.lowing wrote:

If you are incapable of pointing out any negative aspects of cultural diversity, then you don't have much of an argument.
Chinese students from "Chinatown" I assume go to the local public school is it not safe to assumethat the local public school in Chinatown is mostly made up of Chinese? Hardly diverse.AussieReaper wrote:

you curtailed my opinion to that of diversity in England. I am not from England, so I freely admit an ignorance to it. I have read others who are from there that seem to think it is Islam is a problem as well as loosing your national identity as a whole. However, like I said earlier you swim ply dismiss them as racist without listeningBertster7 wrote:

Diversity is good and everything as long as the immigrants make it here by legal means and contribute to the country. Also that all groups are given an equal treatment and nothing special and that the actual means of entering the country for immigrants are far tougher so that we're not just letting everyone in for the hell of it.
In the long term though, people born here, white, black, azn etc, should be able to get job oppurtunities first and helped to get them before immigrant workers.

Hmm, think of it more like a farmers market. But with restaurants and clothing stores replacing apple stalls. You don't see a school district or the local Chinese university if you know what I mean...lowing wrote:

Ya see, now you are touching on what I have been saying. Here diversity is succumbing to special interests and special rights and privileges. If you do not you are a racist. and wind up on the defensive.M.O.A.B wrote:

Diversity is not an equal opportunity here. It is pay me for past injustices, and if you do not you are a racist.
Living in China town =\= children not going to school outside of China town. Where the schools are...lowing wrote:

Does not sending them to non-Chinese only public school already meet your criteria of diversity? They now have to go out of their way to achieve diversity by busing to the other side of town?lowing wrote:

Well, they do actually do that. And many of the private schools are inner-suburban and you'd probably be surprised how many gifted asian students there, as they do go out of their way to find good schools no matter what the ethnicity demographic of that school is.

that means fuck all, i went 20 miles to my high school, and there would have been about 10 (off the top of my head) closer than that i ignored.lowing wrote:
