Holy fuck i couldn't imagine the place being pedestrianised. I mean, it's very like lots of big European cities (Ramblas in Barca, lots of London + Manchester, lots of Berlin, fair tracts of Paris) but still, shocked me.
Probably a good thing, and i'd guess due to your grid system this won't really increase traffic load anywhere else.
