Is this the direction the GOP should be heading?
Not your typical REP platform.
PS, I don't think she likes the Palin family..lol.

I believe that is what she was talking about when she said the party was hijacked. To say she is pro all those things and yet she separates it from her own religious views tells me that she gets it. .. at a young age.ATG wrote:
Pro sex, lulz. I bet she is a pro at it.
Reps have failed when it comes to mixing God in with politics and with being overly dogmatic about sex drugs and rock and roll.
The only appeal to me about the republican party is that they are what passes for a fiscally conservative party. Meaning, they are rumored to be conservative, but spend like liberals, while the alternative choices are mostly insane.
I wouldn't, not without a paper bag, not with the image of a bold senior republican constantly being forced upon my mind.ghettoperson wrote:

For those of us outside the States.
For the record, I would hit that.

She also said she didn't want to alienate anyone and lose votes. That was in there too.Kmarion wrote:
She said she was pro-sex (which means she is pro condoms/birth control) because to ask anything else in todays society is unreasonable. She even said for her to preach abstinence (like Bristol Palin) it would be hypocritical of her. <insert awkward omg my dad is going to watch this>. She was pretty clear in her explanation I thought .

We can still see it at comedy central. I think the rest of the world has its way of watching it there too.. Maybe they will share it with those who need it.DBBrinson1 wrote:

She seems genuinely frustrated by the religious right. If you would like a better explanation of her position check here. I think you will find that it isn't only about getting votes. Although in the context of the future of the party it is understandable that one would think that is the case.Meghan McCain wrote:
There’s an especially unhealthy attitude among conservatives. Daughters of Republican politicians aren’t expected to have sex, let alone enjoy it—as if there were some strange chastity belt automatically attached to us female offspring. God forbid anyone talk realistically about life experiences and natural, sexual instincts. Nope, the answer is always abstinence.
