No doubt. Oppression is pretty much what they should expect from the Russian government.Flecco wrote:
Ah k. Idk, I think having their parade shut down isn't a bad reason to protest. Doesn't actually harm anybody. Just kinda annoying. Staging a protest after being warned that it wouldn't be tolerated isn't a smart move though if you are concerned about your health and safety.Turquoise wrote:

Sydney's Mardi Gras isn't a protest. It's a gay pride parade. Discriminatory against heterosexual people tbh.

What was I thinking?
Would you say that your people are free from having any ethnic hostility toward any group?.Sup wrote:

No we don't hate em in general, but having then as neighbour is the biggest single problem our country will ever have. Political influence and the fact we have pretty violent history speaks for itself..Sup wrote:

Can't they just leave us alone?!?!?

Oh,.. common, Russian authorities violently put down any illegal demonstration. But that now that it involves gays, people are making a fuss about it.
That said, gay prides should be banned in any country. I have no problem whatsoever with gays, but I see no need for them to rub it into everyones face unasked for. When a girl wears too short a dress and starts rubbing against some random guy in public she's a slut, when the Jews had to wear a yellow star it was racism of the purest kind. When a barely dressed gay guy rubs against another grandom guy in public or a couple of gay guys hop around on a canal boat all dressed in pink it is equality? FAIL!

I take back what I said about Russia, Shahter. Homophobia is clearly more international than I realized.
