Hi,

Is there anyone here who can tell me how to change my resolution native to 1280x1024 on a 1920x1080 screen?
I don't mean by rightclicking the desktopicon of BF2.exe because this doesn't change it native to 1280x1024, the screen just stretches..
And it also doesn't work by setting the video settings to this.
I want to have it native so it has 2 black boxes on the sides of my screen, because this looks really crappy on a fullhd monitor. It was ok in 1680x1050 but this is just too much.
Thanks alot

Not sure if theres a program to surround it with black boxes, but normally it will stretch just like 640x480 stretches and looks grainy on a 1280x1024 screen, I would say run it at native res? Or you not got gd hardware?
I would say native resolution would look a lot better then 1280x1024 with black boxes either side, and it shouldnt use up hardly any more hardware resources

My hardware is ok, but the problem is that BF2 doesnt support widescreen. So the screen will always get stretched. And it looks crappy, it looks like the AA is on -2 instead of X8

Windows Mode?

Change the last few words in your "Target" for bf2.exe to "+menu 1 +fullscreen 0 +szx 1280 +szy 1024" (without the quotes).

This should do it.

Or use the widescreen fixer http://imk.cx/pc/widescreenfixer/
