One day you will fall in love with a woman and she will love you back and if you have the money to support her (and with that attitude you would have no problem with ruthlessly plowing your way through life, I commend you for that) you would want to have a bunch of little offspring to populate the Earth.
As far as population goes I have a feeling that with advancements in technology the worlds food issue will one day be solved or at least the people in the first world won't starve.
