hi, iv been trying to burn some dvds using nero, but there program for making dvds is so unstable and crashes literally every 5 seconds.. dose anyone know a better program i could use for this? one that i can make nice menus with music and all? thanks
what exactly are you trying to do? Are you trying to backup your dvds, burn dvd disks from files on your computer, etc. if you can be more specific, i might have something for you.
May not be Nero. I have wasted multiple DVDs because of my DVD burner and not becasue of the program. I have issues where my Philips would not burn DVDs (even Philips DVDs) but would burn certain CDs. Then a few weeks later the drive would not burn the same brand/model CDs from multiple programs. So, you should first check the brand/model of DVD, then try a different burner. If you want to try using a differnt application and you are using Windows XP, try using the built-in Roxio buring software. (This will only work if you are copying files from your computer to DVD.)Mike233 wrote:

im trying to burn movies, iv done a few and worked but now it jus crashes befor i even get to the burning stage. when im setting up the dvd and how i want it it will just freeze up and its gone... but what i like about nero is that i can set up a nice screen with music and make chapters and all that stuff... anyways thanks
