I'm not saying Obama is the messiah himself but as an outsider who follows US and international news quite closely he appears to be putting in decent hours at the office, better than his predecessor at least.
People are still stuck on the idea that a single man makes up the presidency. If he is on vacation or out to eat the executive branch does not shut down.
