Well, I've been trying to fix my friends HUD for a while now. Tried every thing I can think of: Uninstall the normal way then reinstall, uninstall by deleting everything then reinstalling, creating a new account on BF2, installing with a different BF2 disk, different res both via the in game setting and forcing it with launch options. Even tried installing the beta 1.5 patch, didin't help. I also tried messing with the video card settings.
It's like the lower left of the HUD is not rendering. But, it's not like the res is messed up because the screen is there it's just the HUD ain't.
His System Specs
The drivers for the vid card are up to date as is Windows. I don't know about the rest.
Any suggestions would be great.
