So I just DLed 1.22 and tried to install it, and then this pops up. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Most likely the file is still in use somehow, or you do not have access to edit the file (not an administrator?).
I don't think it's in use since BF2 isn't running. I also have full admin privileges. I even checked the folder and confirmed that the file was there
make sure that file isnt specified as a read only file. or you could fire off an email to ea
i checked and it isn't, and EA customer service isn't really that top-notch.
