Hockey gloves make purfect beerholders. You don't need to squeeze the can/bottle. Just lift your hand. And it makes a great boxing glove if you want to suckerpunch your buddy sitting next to you

After the 2nd period: 3-3. 2 PP goals by Finland and Polak (CZE) is being as aggressive towards Ruutu as he promised - and paid the price with two penalties. Ruutu on the other hand is nothing short of a film star after that crosscheck after the whistle had blown.

Ruutu knows what he's doing Buuuut he got hit in his wrist that has had surgery once or twice so, who knows, maybe it wasn't a direct dive.
Koistinen; needs to be on the next flight out of Swizerland. His fuckups are almost biblical. And then we have some other Mickey Mouses in form of Pihlman and Immonen in the team. WTF?! They may dominate in our puny domestic league but they are worth jack shit in these games. Just skills don't do it here. You need to have some strength too or then some über-serious skills.

And Finland wins against Jagr and his Czechs, winning Group D at the same time with a clean play. Awesome, awesome game!

Sweden won too, against USA 6-5 on OT. Woot!

As for the Finns, the next match will be against Slovakia (I think) the day after tomorrow. Had Finland lost today, they would've met Canada tomorrow. Czechs can do that now instead. Canada is dominating the tournament.

But a challenger appears. Groups have now been combined into E and F, points and GF/GA are dropped for the games where the other team fell out and into the relegation round.
