As if the OP mods the thread...there is little to no moderation of this monster.  I don't care either way, you plebes figure something out.  It is a big deal after all

That brings up a good point, we need a leader of the plebeians just like Rome. Maybe elect another every so often

The way I was doing it was; if the op reported a post in the ee chat thread, for whatever reason, I issued a three day ban.

Now, as a revolving chair, it would turn into a cluster fuck if a OP went nuts with that, because people would want to retaliate, right? So we wouldn't let them go nuts with it but...
But, if an OP deems a post in the thread worthy of mod action I am not going to review it, I am going to rubber stamp it.

Sort of like how permabans work on this site; we mods have the power.

With that power, comes consequences and dilemas. I was hoping the users would get a chance to see what it was all about so they wouldn't get all pissy about AWMs and such.


That is why ee chat exists.

God no. I already hate dealing with GS with mods around, god forbid there were no mods what some of the flaming post and derailing would be like.

I thought it existed to alleviate the spam in the rest of the forum?  It was all really a test, right?  Haha k.  We should just have some random nub start it - maybe it will lead to more interaction on the forum from aforementioned nub.
