So I'm trying a cost/benefit analysis on: Anne Hathaway naked versus cowboy on cowboy action.

Having never seen the movie, I feel I can safely say that it is not worth it. I have seen this film change many of my friends into people that I barely recognize today. They now say things like "it's a good movie", "the film is a master work", and "get over your blatant homophobia, Gravy." I can read between the lines, and recognize these statements all translate into "wanna ride the wild moustache?" and "let's cowboy up - I'll be the horse." Avoid it at all possible costs.

After further review of a linky someone sent me, I'm glad I didn't have to watch the movie...and I now think my buddy who was like "OMG Anne Hathaway naked" is a little, well, tweaked in some way.

I haven't seen the movie, but from the trailers it seems like all the other sappy, schmaltzy dramas without a happy end.
And I don't like those kind of movies, regardless if their main theme is gay or not. They just bore me.
I watched the movie "Shortbus", which has much more gayness in it among lots of other hetero sex scenes, but it was much funnier (wireless controlled vibrator with the remote control in the backpocket of someone else's pants ), even though the basic concept had the same themes that a "romantic comedy" could have.

I think Ang Lee should stick with Easterns and kung-fu movies. Romantic drama is much more bearable in those.
