This is weird. If I go to appear offline so I can goof around in a Steam game without being messaged by everybody, it sets me to appear online the minute I load a map. So far I've noticed this in Source games, and it moderately pisses me off.

More than the first week of Bioshock, even.

Non-valve games + steam = shit combination.


Only really smooth ones I've heard of were the CoD games. Everything else launched on steam at the same time as the boxes hitting the shelves that's not Valve made seems to fuck up reaaally badly.
