Not really. Two or three samples of 40 or so in size is enough to extrapolate data from. More would lead to more accurate results but for ballpark figures 1000 is more than enough.Hurricane2k9 wrote:

Yeah, but we have to remember other factors. I mean this is mostly in Mexico, if the cases were distributed evenly throughout the world and still showed that death rate then I'd be more accepting. several new cases popping up in US, but still not as serious..but they are Swine flu according to the test.

the incubation is 3-5 days..then you get suddenly ill. Luckily the strain of swine in the states is less severe than down in mexico.

one thing interesting about this case besides it being a strain with 4 different types..and passing easily from human to human. Is the fact that it seems to be targeting adults 22-40 years old..in good health in Mexico.
