We had a Canadian with us on the trip so it was pretty cool seeing that with him. First thing he did there was go to one of the Canadian caretakers and ask about the NHL scores though.
That has a bit of a lotr look about it.

Nothing like seeing it in person.

the anzac game was great. they played the last post, full marching band playing other tunes, a helicopter flew into the stadium with the trophy (lol it was a navy helicopter)

My Air Force Cadets Squadron provided the cenotaph guard for two dawn services.. I was a member of the one at the Castle Hill (if any oz members live around that area lol.. ) service. There must have been at least 1000 people there. It was surreal.
