hi every1!

i was wondering whether or not i should trun on the vertical synchronisation and the antistrophic filter (sorry, but im not sure about the spelling here). a frined told me that both do not make a great difference if tunrned on, but somehow i dont believe him...lol. so, what do u guys know about these two options? will bf2 look better, or will it just cost performance?

thx a lot guys

1. Don't turn on vertical sync.
2. Read this guide:

anisotropic filtering makes textures look crisper at distance.. myn is ALWAYS on 16x no matter what game
vert sync is ok if u dont want frame tearing and dont mind an fps locked at whatever HZ your VDU is set it. but generally people turn this off because they like the e-penis growing when they get 5 more than they got with it on..
on that note i get 250~300 fps in bf2(unlocked cap) with all settings on highest w00t
lol
but yea anisotropic filtering wont kill ur fps much on a decent board.. its antialiasing which takes the fps away the most, then theres transparency aa (which makes BF2 look FUCKING AMAZING btw) which kills ur fps even more lol 2 lots of AA but yea i've rambled.. in short read that guide n make ur own assumptions..

if anyone happens to stumble across the fog command that's legal in-game i'd apreciate it lol

vsync is nice if you're using an LCD display, which can show tearing really bad in some games (BF2 isn't the worst).  For me, that means a solid 60fps 99% of the time.  I'm happy with that considering I no longer get distracted by the tearing.
