Lots of MEC lines have someone saying a word that sounds like HOWIT. I hear HOWIT used in translated interviews with Iraqis. So, can someone tell me...what does this HOWIT mean. As far as I can tell, it's either 'acknowledge,' 'confirm' or something similar.. If I knew how to spell it right, the online Arabic dictionaries would probably tell me...but alas.

The best MEC saying is when you spot a sniper

Sounds like "O No", as if you MEC soldier is worried!

EDIT: infact is sounds more like the scottish saying "Aw Naw"

If I had to guess I'd say its some kind of acknowledgement, like the 'over' at the end of many of the english radio messages.
