Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.
He is facist. I mean, he got elected, and now he's like making laws and shit. Bastard he is.Flecco wrote:

Wasn't from an email(at least I didn't get it in that way), and I don't particularly believe it(or care anymore), but I thought it might be worthy of discussing.ghettoperson wrote:

Don't get me wrong here. I think the requirement for "natural born citizen" was based on a fear that has since passed. I do, however, think the requirement should be 35 years of uninterrupted citizenship--either natural-born or naturalized.

Well fine then, a simple constitutional amendment and we're done.FEOS wrote:

I think being a citizen is a good deal more important than who your Daddy was, that sort of elitist crap should be left for royal families.
Fuck Israel
1) My opinion does not represent the majority of America. There's pretty stringent requirements for amending the Constitution, and I'm fine with the process required to do it.Dilbert_X wrote:

2) It's not about who your Daddy is. You can be a natural-born US citizen and neither of your parents be US citizens.

That is nonsensical. It has nothing to do with who your Daddy is, unless he's the one who is the US citizen. Same with Mommy. Or where you are actually born, regardless of your parents' citizenship.Dilbert_X wrote:

And it doesn't matter who your Daddy is if you don't meet natural born citizenship criteria--you'll never be one.

So let me get this straight...we're supposed to believe US intelligence on matters of International security and yet you are claiming that US Intelligence can't even ascertain whether or not one of the Presidential candidates (the eventual winner as it turns out) was even born in the United States?
God help you in the war on terror if you can't even keep track of your own. Laughable.

The mere suggestion that the American intelligence services could not provide a definitive answer on whether or not a Presidential candidate was in fact an American citizen or not is simply ridiculous.
