Found this video on a supposed jokey site but the psychologist makes good sense, now what i would like to know is why does our news media continue to glorify serial killers?

But yes. Publicity drives many psychos. Unfortunately, as that guy said, bad news is good news for the press.

I see it as a major problem of today, glorifying gangsters and murderers.
I can't see any real benefit to publicising what they do, the 'Crime Channel' seems pretty close to hero-worship IMO.
Flims like 'SAW' should just not be allowed, they are level with child porn as far as I'm concerned.
Its not going to end well.
