Less nukes, but bigger ones. Kill off this ludicrous idea of 'tactical' nuclear weapons, and recognise their one and only purpose - for wiping a country (or, at least, a big part of the country) off the map. Permanently.
Because there exists a belief, y'know, that some countries are better than others and that countries with a track record of aggression or disdain for basic common sense with regards to neighbours shouldn't have access to such weapons. That, and terrorists.DrunkFace wrote:
If they keep the peace, why are you so worried about N Korea, Iraq, Iran etc etc having them?
Surely the more countries with them will keep the world a much more peaceful place. In fact because the US has so many why don't they just give like 10 to every country and then we'll never have any wars again.

There was a period of time there when the U.S. had the only nuclear game in town.
Why didn't we conquer the world?
It wasn't the right thing to do.
As an aside, I do begin to wonder if the West and it's alignment with battling Islam is not a result of Islams refusal to accept central banks and IMF money.

World power vs. World power? Hasn't happened since that small war that started around 1914 and finished up in 1945.rammunition wrote:

Considering I am of Vietnamese heritage and my parents were both almost killed in bombing runs, it is with weight that I suggest that you cease comparing Vietnam to WWII, or the US to the Nazis or Japanese etc.rammunition wrote:

There could be a thread about potato chips and he would pull the "quoting/sourcing himself" stunt.Spark wrote:

I'd actually prefer to be one of those men in the trenches to a nuclear war happening.Polux wrote:

I believe because of the lack of ballistic missiles and overall small number of nukes. Also unexeptable level of losses during conquering the world for US community. Hell, you nuked japanese civilians (note that there was a plenty of military objects in the country) only because your scientists calculated that full scale invation on japanese islands will cost you aprox. 300 000 military casualties.ATG wrote:

On the other hand, if Nazi Germany or USSR were the only ones with nukes, losses won't be a problem in totalitarian society with 100% censored mass media, so they'll probably try to conquer the world
