You may not be able to notice it when there's a giant gap between cars, but when you look at battles that took place today i.e Hamilton vs Webber, KERS worked fantastically for Hamilton. Although Webber had the speed in the corners and overtook Hamilton on them, Hamilton had a vastly superior straightline speed thanks to his KERS system.baggs wrote:

McLaren may not have the car, but they have the best KERS system out of the lot at the moment. He has started in bottom 10 positions over the first two races and has ended up in the points each time (was DSQ in Melbourne though).
