Holy shit:
SourceCCTV footage has captured the moment a man was engulfed in a fireball as he tried to light a match in an apparent prank at a petrol station.
The man had been buying cigarettes from the station in Arizona while the driver filled their SUV with fuel, the Daily Mail reports.
When he returned to the car, the un-named man lit a match as his friend continued pumping the petrol into the car.
The spark from the match was enough to set fire to the petrol fumes, engulfing the man in flames until a quick-thinking petrol station attendant threw a bucket of water over him.
The surveillance footage shows the driver of the vehicle running away and then rushing back to save a baby who was also in the back of the car.
A woman can also be seen climbing out one of the windows of the vehicle.
A fourth male passenger said his was friend was "just messing around" when he struck the match and "everything blew up", station manager Phillip Butler was quoted as saying.
The victim, who suffered burns to around 20 per cent of his body, was taking leave from serving with the US forces in Iraq, his mother said.
Station worker Benjamin Gonzalez told local media that by the time he doused the man in water, he was "on fire and running around like crazy".
"I didn't want the whole thing going on fire, don't want an explosion in here, you know … one spark, that's enough to blow everything up," he was quoted as saying.
