Jesus, this is gonna be a big event. The security is supposedly going to be the biggest operation the police have ever mounted.

It comes with a tear gas cannon, a night-vision camera and oxygen tanks. Its reinforced steel plating is said to be able to protect against bullets, chemical attack, and even a missile strike.
As well as medical personnel, Mr Obama's entourage consists of over 200 security officials, dozens of political aides and a team of personal chefs.

Hopefully all goes well, with no destruction of property, or civilian/police injury.

lol its weird, there was a doc about the Marine One helos on last night. Had them all flying together.

I'm interested to the point that the self-described G20 is essentially creating new policy outside official channels. No one is holding these economic leaders accountable (except for maybe their counterparts in the G20 ). There is no authority for these people to answer to, no formal international organization these people belong to or are beholden to. Bankers and government policy makers meeting with their foreign counterparts to decide new economic policy with no public input (in fact the G20 goes to absurd lengths to make sure the public is kept as far away as possible). I predict a lot of public scolding (especially directed towards the US) and an equal amount of private back-patting.

I can't wait for our divine overlords to dictate their new economic policies to us plebians.
