Speaking of summer, I'm thinking of getting a new bicycle for this one. My old bike got stolen like 4 years ago and I haven't been arsed to buy a new one. As I'm tired of having the alternatives of a) walking or b) driving to a location (I hate public transportation, except for the subway which we naturally don't have), I want a bike to cruise the neighbourhood with.
My friend recently opened his own custom bicycle shop, so I've already asked him to make a bike for me. It's called the "I don't do Dirt-bike". It looks like a dirt bike, but it has the gear ratio of a BMX on a 24" frame and only a rear brake (front disc optional). Since it's a custom and he's making it, I can get what I want in it. The price tag is around 400-500 € though, and I don't know when it'll be ready as he makes everything himself.
