As the title suggests Im getting to meet someone this weekend, he's another member of bf2s.com, he is the one and only http://forums.bf2s.com/profile.php?id=22074 Ultrafunkula.

8 Months ago 'Funky' (as I affectionatly like to call him) told me he was coming over to Cardiff to watch the Wales v Finland WC Qualifier. We have chatted back and fore since then and the day is almost upon us. Have a look at his sig, he has had a counter ticking down.

Funky arrives in Cardiff about 12 Midday tomorrow (Sat 28 March), I'll be in town waiting for him and we'll go find a pub or two, have a few beers/ciders and maybe something to eat. Kick Off is 3pm, and then he has to get back on the coach at 6.15pm, so we will have to 'power drink' after the match.

I can't sit with Funkies Party during the match due to the home/away fans rule and no booze will be on sale during the match.

Luckily Cardiff is a fannytastic city for sport and booze. The bus/train station is adjacent to the stadium which is surrounded by possibly 50 bars, some gay, some straight.

I will use my new phone to take photo's of our meet (spelt correctly) and update this thread when I can, won't be till after the weekend though.

I reckon Funky will sink pints quicker than me, and I reckon the match will be a close call, too close to call.

Very much looking forward to meeting Funky, a few of you know how I'd love to get about and meet quite a lot of you off here with maybe a weekend meet arranged similar to what we did with my ex clan.

Funky - I'll be the one wearing the Red Dress and the floral broach.

Well tbh I didnt realise what language it was in, but Funky if we go for food I may reinact the famous scene

My house mate Kerry is in Cardiff 2moro dressed as a Bunny, promoting anne summers (They sell dildo's and knickers), I'll be on the train with her I think. I reckon I'll get to Cardiff about 11.

No, I call them Both Funky, Finny will know he aint meeting me.

I was due to meet Sherrif next weekend and take him to football aswell, this time it would of been Cardiff v Swansea, well football will be the side show to that one.

Id be well up for it.

The first step would be to arrange an organising commitee and we would also need out own section on the forums to discuss things.

get the organisers first and the location second, then look at prices. Unfortunatly this credit cruch will probably prevent some members from coming, there should be like a 6 month period of organising - meet, and hope that nobody looses intrest. Deposits into a paypal account would sort this out.

It would take a few brave men to sort out, Ive seen Varegg try and arrange things on here for our own benefit, where at the start everyone is like 'yeah yeah count me in' only for him to be messed around. Its sounds fairly easy to arrange, but I bet its not.
