What the hell? Why is it that people are allowed to rent only to people of specific genders, but not of specific race? What if she just doesn't like black culture?

I remember 60 minutes doing stories about investigators being sent out to uncover racism in renting. People call up an advert and give their name a Llwana Urethra Johnson or Malcom X or some other name that indicates an unfavored race and suddenly the apartment has just been rented. OR sometimes if you say you have children then you get denied too.
But I bet you didn't know that mortgage companies and banks keep a close eye on the racial make up of neighborhood when approving mortgages. The banks know that the tipping point before a neighborhood experiences white flight is around 15%. IF the make up of neighborhood gets close to the tipping point then the banks start to deny mortgages.
IMO this woman is a boob. She is 53 years old and thankfully the ideas that she clings to are dieing out. But its a generational thing that will only be resoved when the old guard generation dies out. Obama being elected is proof that the old guard belief system is eroding.

Maybe if they didn't tax the hell out of us in property taxes to fund a government run "public school" system that is barely more than a poorly run and administered warehouse and indoctrination area for the youth of the nation, we would be able to better afford sending our children to a privately run education facility of our choice. Perhaps if the government did not do everything possible to suppress or degrade alternative forms of education, we could have a better market for private schools with better prices and more options. Oh, and if I was renting out a room in my house, I would want to pick the person I feel would get along best with me and my family; not just be forced to settle for the first person who showed up being able to pay the rent. Does it matter what guidelines I use to pick that person? Is it legal if I keep my methods secret, but is illegal if I post them, so they can avoid wasted my time as well as their own?
